Bert de Groot brings Bitcoin Brabant to the main stage and the open area. The project sits close to the practical side of Bitcoin in the Netherlands: mining, physical storage, education and helping people replace vague confidence with setups they can actually explain.

His self-custody talk asks a sharper question than "do you hold your keys?" If a third party still controls your data, your recovery path, your instructions or your family's ability to act, then there is more work to do. Bert turns that work into plain choices rather than mystical security theater.
