Story
Spiky brings KaffeeSATS to the demo area: an open-source Bitcoin coffee machine project where visitors can pay with Lightning and unlock a real-world machine. It is a simple but powerful demo because it turns Lightning from a wallet screen into a physical action.
The project documents two editions: an Offline Bitcoin Switch flow with LNbits and PIN verification, and a ZapBox edition with LNbits, NFC Bolt Card support and relay control. For the conference, that makes KaffeeSATS a friendly entry point into payments, hardware and self-hosted Bitcoin tooling.
