Bots scan the Bitcoin blockchain for opportunities to steal coins. They do this via poorly chosen private keys, or even worse via poor cryptographic signature hygiene. This hackathon project aimed to lure a nonce reuse bot out of hiding by using a duplicate nonce in an ECDSA sig. This is not as easy a task as it might sound, since wallet libraries account for this possibility, so the actual demo was launched on the eth blockchain instead.
