@saifedean on the fiat disaster, the bright future of Bitcoin

Saifedean Ammous is the author of the "Bitcoin Standard" and the "Fiat Standard". His second book was just published in German by our good friends at Aprycot Media.

Saif has a positive message in our times of high inflation and possible hyperinflation: "Maybe we don't have to go through a lot of suffering. Maybe the last century of fiat money was the apocalypse and maybe we are now coming out on the other side of it."

The future under Bitcoin might be bright, he says. Deflation is not a problem, people will still spend and consume. But: "People will spend a lot less on stupid stuff and make better investing decisions."
