Super Smash Bears is a permission-less eSports betting proof-of-concept using DLC’s with Bitcoin-S.
In this context, Discreet Log Contracts allow for the fair settlement of wagers between parties based on the attestation of an event by an agreed upon oracle, or authoritative source of information. Super Smash Bears uses an AI service as an oracle for Super Smash Bros Twitch feeds to attest to the outcome of the game, allowing for lightning channel-style DLC bets to be trustlessly decided.
